Making the decision to seek counselling is a huge step towards change. Life can present us with many challenges and at times we can feel stuck in our feelings, thoughts or patterns. I am a great believer in the body and mind connection and how our emotional difficulties can express themselves physically. Within my way of working I am happy to integrate the use of breathwork and other practical or body based methods to help empower the individual to have more control over their bodily 

responses to feelings of overwhelm and distress.  Psychotherapeutic counselling works best when it is collaborative and helps the individual work towards greater integration in their lives and gives back a feeling of control, hope and self-mastery.
